Birth with a community midwife is about relationship building and trust. It is an honor when you share your birth experience with us. Even when your birth story differs from what was envisioned. We want you to feel joy, pride, and satisfaction with your birth. Fostering your ability to make decisions about your own care is an integral part of that. Our goal is an environment that is safe, secure, and serene; a space where you are surrounded by love and support.

“I had the pleasure of having Linda Legault attend my first birth as my midwife. As I write this, my son is nearly a year old, and that night still goes down in history as the most incredible, powerful, and beautiful night of my life. To everyone’s surprise, my water broke 1 week early. Labor felt very mild, but being a slightly nervous first timer, I wanted to go to the birth center right away. She agreed to meet me there, knowing it would probably be hours before active labor began. Linda was clearly putting my comfort before her own. Turns out I was active when we arrived! Linda was the perfect balance of attentive, yet giving me space to go through active labor on my own She allowed me to listen to my body, but I also had the assurance that she was there for me when I did need her guidance in those last few moments before my son was born. Exactly what I wanted from my midwife. I would hire Linda for my second birth in a heartbeat!” ---Heather B.
Linda has always helped me in any way she could! Whenever had any questions or concerns about birth control could always talk to her and she would never judge or anything. I’ve always felt comfortable around her, and my experiences with her have always been so positive. ---Trinity L.
Linda provided my prenatal, birth, newborn, and postnatal care. She is professional, well-educated on birth, and supportive of evidence-based birth plans. I immediately felt comfortable with Linda and loved having her presence at my home birth. ---Brianne L.
It’s crazy to think I’ve only known Linda for 2 years, because it feels like I’ve known her my whole life. Linda had taken over my care when I was pregnant with my 5th baby. Even though I had four other births, I still had concerns. Linda made me feel so comfortable and she listened to me regardless of how crazy I sounded. She always took the time to make sure I received the time and care I needed. I truly feel because of how safe and comfortable I felt is what made the birth of our sweet baby girl the most magical moment of my life. My prenatal care, birth and postnatal care were exceptional! I consider Linda as a part of my family. She loves what she does and you can tell in the care she provides. I would recommend Linda 1000 times over again and if I ever have another baby, Linda will be the one I call. --- Sonya D.
"I looked forward to every prenatal appointment with Linda. She helped me feel comfortable and answered any questions I had thoughtfully and knowledgeably. During labor, Linda helped me to feel empowered and she truly believed in me. I'm so, so grateful for her support during such a vulnerable moment in my life. I'll be honored to receive her care once we start to think about our next baby!" --- Mae V.
