Giving birth is hard work, but it is a NORMAL biological process

Because every woman and family are unique, we work with you to personalize care to fit your own individual needs, while using evidence and shared decision-making as a framework for all that we do.
Special care must be taken to protect the natural physiology of pregnancy and birth.
A woman’s loved ones should always be included and encouraged in the pregnancy and birth cycle to the extent that she and they desire.
The midwife should respect the cultural expressions of the woman and family.
The role of the midwife is to safeguard the birth and postpartum bonding, Her presence should make family feel included and the women protected and safe.
The Birth Team should be a compassionate, supportive, but non-intrusive presence in the sacred space and time of birthing
